These Terms & Conditions govern the participation of Service Providers on the Sabmeet platform.

By creating a provider account, listing services, or accepting bookings through the platform, the Service Provider confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms.


1. PLATFORM ROLE & INTERMEDIARY STATUS

1.1 Sabmeet operates a digital service marketplace platform enabling customers to discover and book independent service providers.

1.2 Sabmeet functions solely as a technology intermediary infrastructure facilitating:

• service discovery
• booking management
• escrow-based payment holding
• workflow verification

1.3 Sabmeet does not:

• employ service providers
• supervise service execution
• control service methods or tools
• guarantee service outcomes

1.4 Sabmeet operates under applicable Indian laws including:

1.5 The contractual relationship for service delivery exists directly between the Customer and the Service Provider.

Sabmeet acts only as the digital platform facilitating the transaction.


2. SERVICE PROVIDER STATUS (INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR)

2.1 All Service Providers on Sabmeet operate as independent individuals or businesses.

2.2 Nothing in these Terms shall be interpreted as creating:

• employment
• partnership
• joint venture
• agency relationship

between Sabmeet and the Service Provider.

2.3 Service Providers are solely responsible for:

• service execution
• tools and materials
• safety precautions
• compliance with laws and regulations.


3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION & DOCUMENT VERIFICATION

3.1 Service Providers must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.

3.2 Sabmeet may request verification documents including but not limited to:

• identity proof
• address verification
• business registration documents
• professional licenses (if applicable)

3.3 Verification may be conducted using third-party verification infrastructure providers, including background verification services similar to Ongrid.

3.4 Submission of false, forged, or misleading documents may result in:

• immediate account suspension
• permanent platform termination
• reporting to appropriate authorities
• legal action under applicable Indian laws.


4. SERVICE LISTING RULES

4.1 Service Providers must create accurate listings including:

• service description
• price
• expected duration
• service workflow steps

4.2 Services listed must be:

• finite
• outcome-defined
• time-bound

4.3 Service Providers must not list:

• illegal services
• regulated services without proper licensing
• misleading or fraudulent services.

4.4 Sabmeet reserves the right to modify, reject, or remove listings violating platform policies.


5. SERVICE EXECUTION OBLIGATIONS

5.1 Service Providers must deliver services exactly as described in the listing.

5.2 Providers must arrive at the agreed location and time as scheduled.

5.3 Providers may be required to upload workflow evidence including:

• service start verification image
• arrival confirmation
• tools or equipment images

5.4 Failure to follow declared workflow steps may lead to:

• dispute rulings against the provider
• payment withholding
• account penalties.


6. ESCROW PAYMENT SYSTEM

6.1 All payments on Sabmeet are processed through an escrow payment structure.

6.2 Customer payments are temporarily held until the service workflow conditions are satisfied.

6.3 Payment processing may be conducted through third-party payment processors governed under:

6.4 Sabmeet does not control or operate payment gateway infrastructure.

6.5 Payment release is governed strictly by:

• listing conditions created by the Service Provider
• platform workflow rules
• dispute resolution outcomes.


7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION & PLATFORM REVIEW

7.1 If a dispute is raised after order confirmation, Sabmeet may review:

• workflow logs
• uploaded evidence
• communication records
• platform timestamps.

7.2 Based on platform records, Sabmeet may determine whether the Customer or Service Provider complied with listing terms.

7.3 Platform decisions for dispute settlement shall be based on available digital evidence and listing conditions.

7.4 Sabmeet digital records may be considered valid electronic evidence.


8. CATEGORY-SPECIFIC SERVICE RULES

Certain service categories may be subject to additional legal, regulatory, or operational requirements.

These Category-Specific Rules apply to providers operating within the respective category.

9. SERVICE PROVIDER LIABILITY

9.1 Service Providers are solely responsible for:

• injuries caused during service
• property damage during service execution
• professional negligence
• safety violations.

9.2 Sabmeet shall not be responsible for damages arising from service provider actions.


10. MISCONDUCT & UNLAWFUL ACTIVITY

10.1 Service Providers must maintain professional and lawful behaviour.

10.2 Misconduct includes:

• harassment
• abusive behaviour
• fraud
• illegal activities
• threatening customers.

10.3 Violations may lead to:

• account suspension
• permanent platform removal
• payment withholding
• legal reporting under Indian law including:

11. OFF-PLATFORM PAYMENTS PROHIBITED

11.1 Service Providers must not encourage customers to make payments outside the platform.

11.2 Attempting to bypass the platform payment system may result in:

• account suspension
• termination
• financial penalties.


12. AUTO ESCROW PAYMENT RELEASE

12.1 Payment may be automatically released when:

• service workflow steps are completed, or
• the customer fails to confirm completion within the designated time.

12.2 Escrow release rules may vary depending on category-specific policies and listing conditions.


13. PLATFORM INVESTIGATION RIGHTS

Sabmeet reserves the right to investigate activities including:

• fraud
• suspicious behaviour
• policy violations
• customer complaints.

The platform may request additional verification documents from service providers.


14. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION & TERMINATION

Sabmeet may suspend or terminate service provider accounts for:

• false documentation
• failure to deliver services as listed
• repeated cancellations
• misconduct
• legal violations.

Sabmeet may also temporarily withhold payments during investigations.


15. INDEMNITY

Service Providers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sabmeet from claims arising from:

• service execution
• negligence
• regulatory violations
• disputes with customers.


16. FORCE MAJEURE

Sabmeet shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control including:

• natural disasters
• government restrictions
• internet outages
• payment network failures.


17. AMENDMENTS

Sabmeet may update these Terms periodically.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.


18. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India, including:

• Information Technology Act, 2000
• Consumer Protection Act, 2019
• Indian Contract Act, 1872
• Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023
• Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007

Jurisdiction shall lie exclusively with courts located in:

Mumbai, India
